Step into 1904 and have tea on the veranda just as the Riordans did at the beginning of last century. You’re more than welcome to dress in your finest Victorian or Edwardian attire when attending this interactive event.
A traditional tea menu will be served. You can expect to enjoy Irish Soda Bread; Finger Sandwiches; Scones with Devon Cream, Lemon Curd and Strawberry Jam; Fruit, Meat, Cheese & Crackers and Lovely Desserts. If tea is not your drink of choice, you can sip Sparkling Apple Cider, Pink Lemonade or Coffee. With ample notice, we can even accommodate gluten free diets (please email riordanactionnet@gmail.com).
Seating is limited and tickets must be purchased by September 3, 2023.
Cost $40.00 for general seating
VIP Upgrade: This year, we are offering the Elizabeth VIP setting for an additional $20.00. This upgrade includes the use of Riordan Family China dating back 120 years! To keep the sets together, all place settings at a table must use this upgrade. The VIP upgrade also includes a pass to tour Riordan Mansion State Historic Park and can be used anytime within the following year. These seats will also be placed in a preferred area of the courtyard, depending on weather September 10th. The $20 upgrade is per setting, bringing the total for the buyer to $60 per seat.
To honor the comfort of our guests, tickets are being sold in groups of 2, 4 or 6 people which allows family and friends to have a table to themselves. Space is limited and reservations are required. Call the park at 928-779-4395 for more information. The tea does not include regular tour admission to Riordan Mansion State Historic Park (unless you’ve purchased the $20 upgrade). Ticket proceeds support education and preservation at the historic home. Tickets are not refundable but if unused, will be considered a donation.
Additional opportunities to help support Riordan Mansion will be fortune telling, raffles and a mini rummage sale of tea-inspired items.
We are honored to have the Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society as our co-hosts again this year.
