ABOUT THE EVENT, ORGANIZERS, TERMS
Nordic Startup Festival is a public event organized by Nutty Ventures AB, Stockholm, Sweden.
The event will be live streamed and recorded using third party platforms. The content is LIVE, and hence is unmoderated, unfiltered, and unedited. It is conducted on the basis of trust and professionalism. The event organizers cannot accept any responsibility for the performance of these platforms, and the internet links on which they depend. As these events are online, they may be vulnerable to hacking and abuse from outside parties, and we rely on the provider to ensure the security of their platform. The event organizers cannot accept any responsibility for any damage or injury resulting from participating in the events, neither for and not limited to, exposure to indecent, inflammatory, offensive or racist content. Any views expressed during the sessions by the speakers, moderators, jury, startups, or participants are solely based upon personal opinion and should not be taken as professional advice. Furthermore, any opinions are expressly those of the participants and not necessarily the views of the event organizers. The event organizers take all possible measures to advise participants beforehand, that they behave in a professional manner, and do not encourage or incite any prejudicial behavior against individuals, communities, nations, governments, religions or cultures that may cause offense and hurt to others, or encourage actions that break any laws. Any person wishing to share content should ensure that they are not violating copyright. The event organizers will not be held liable for any such breach.
Startups that are sending in pitch application requests, do note that startup pitches will be public. Startups must only submit pitch application and pitch material they deem appropriate to be shared publicly – please DO NOT submit any confidential information in your application or pitch. Public sections of startup pitch applications will be listed on the Nordic Startup Showcase on Nutty Ventures website with the intention to give startups more exposure – for best results, remember to upload your logo in square PNG format and check your application for typos. More details on public sections of pitch application are available on the pitch application form. If the startup pitch is not professional or it is just an idea or a peron and not a startup yet, it will not be displayed on the showcase. Anyone can apply with their idea or startup. Pitching applications will be reviewed by startup experts and event team. After initial screening of the ideas, the finalists will be selected and invited to pitch at the event by the Nutty Ventures team and partners. Startups that do not hear from us before the event about pitching should assume that did not make the final cut. If a finalist does not confirm their pitching participation within the response time, others may be contacted instead. Finalists will pitch through pre-submitted video pitches at the event. Finalists will be given at max 2 calendar days to prepare and submit their video pitch. Finalists will need to be live on camera to answer any questions from panelists / jury members.
Nutty Ventures AB will do its best to run the event but online events can have technical & otherwise problems and the company will not be responsible for any problems or issues (financial, business or otherwise) faced by anyone associated with the event (attendee, pitching finalists, speakers, partners etc). All decisions of Nutty Ventures AB will be final and binding for this event.
By signing up you agree to our Privacy Policy that’s available on Nutty Venture’s website and agree to be contacted by us about updates regarding this event and our work in the startup ecosystem.
