You sign up\, and we book the restaurant. Our mission is to host dinners in over 100 cities to bring people together while supporting locally owned businesses. This micro-event is intended to be for 5 people or less. Check out our feature in Eventbrite’s 2025 TRNDS report about embracing the micro-event trend. \nThis is not directly associated with the restaurant of the week\, but rather based on a table reservation via Opentable or Resy or other online platforms. These are not singles gatherings. \n*Try not to sign up the day of. Our series groups together complete strangers for a fun day out. That’s right\, you sign up\, and we book the restaurant. We know life can get busy. Don’t forget to spend time making new friends! Why do city life alone when you can build your community with us. Embrace the awkwardness of meeting new people for the first time blindly: all ages\, interests\, hobbies\, and backgrounds. This project is to host dinners in 100 cities to combat loneliness in the modern world while supporting locally owned businesses. \nEach month\, dinner is held at a different restaurant. These dinners are not directly associated with the restaurants\, but are simply based on a table reservation. Table reservations at the proposed restaurant depend on reaching a minimum headcount. The pin on the map is NOT the location but nust a placeholder on Eventbrite. The restaurant of the night is discussed with registrants. \nOur news segment on Fox 11 Los Angeles! \nThis micro-event is intended to be for 4-6 peoplemaximum. Winter Clothing Drive.\n\n\nMulti-award-winning independent artists and cultural ambassadors Jeneda and Clayson Benally deliver a powerful\, genre-defying sound rooted in their Navajo heritage. With just bass\, drums\, and vocals\, this sibling duo blends traditional Navajo music\, folk\, world\, and post-punk energy to create a unique musical experience that inspires audiences worldwide. Sihasin (pronounced See-ha-sin)\, meaning hope in Navajo\, was formed following their internationally acclaimed band Blackfire. Raised amid forced relocation\, sacred site desecration\, and human rights struggles on the Navajo Nation\, Jeneda and Clayson channel these experiences into music that empowers\, heals\, and advocates for justice. \nSihasin’s music embodies hope\, resilience\, and a strong cultural foundation. In Diné (Navajo) tradition\, music is a tool for healing and unity; Sihasin continues this tradition by inspiring listeners to rise up\, speak out\, and create positive change. \n“Every second they were on stage\, the stage was on fire.” –The Huffington Post \n \nPRIOR TO THE SHOW 6:30 PM \n \nA Conversation with Berta BenallyBerta Benally will share her perspective and experience on what she’s witnessed since the late 1960’s on the Navajo reservation and surrounding areas\, and the effects it has had on the environment and the people. The presentation will include topics of mining and desecrations of sacred lands\, and feature Berta performing two songs on these issues. \nWinter Clothing DriveAs a benefit to the unsheltered community\, this event will include a Winter Clothing Drive. In consideration of cultural practices\, please do not contribute items from deceased people.
